Step 1: Upload Your types.xml
File
Click or drag your types.xml
file into the upload area. The tool will parse the file and enable the controls.
Step 2: Select Usages
Check the boxes for all usage flags you want to target for the boost. For example, selecting "Military" will boost all items that have the `` tag. You can add your own custom usage flags with the "+ Add Custom Usage" button.
Step 3: Configure Boost & Options
Boost Percentage: Select how much you want to increase the `nominal` value. A 60% boost on an item with a nominal of 10 will result in a new nominal of 16.
Auto-adjust minimum: If checked, this will automatically set the `min` value to be 60% of the new `nominal` value. This helps maintain loot balance.
Step 4: Avoidance Options (Recommended)
These options help prevent accidentally boosting items you don't want to change. They are on by default.
- Avoid Wrecks: Skips any item if its name contains the word "Wreck" (e.g., "Wreck_UAZ").
- Avoid Vehicles: Skips any item if its name contains the word "Vehicle" (e.g., "Vehicle_OffroadHatchback").
- Avoid 0 Nominal: Skips any item where the `nominal` value is already 0, as these are typically disabled intentionally.
Step 5: Process and Download
Click "Boost Loot" to apply your changes. You can then use the "Compare Changes" button to see a summary of what was modified. When you're ready, click "Download Boosted File".
Tip: Always back up your original types.xml
before using this tool!
