Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Stella Killfeed, the Stella Owner Dashboard, or any related Stella services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms apply whether you access Stella through Discord, the Stella dashboard, the Stella website, or any related web tools.

2. Eligibility & Authority

You may only use Stella if you are legally able to agree to these Terms and have authority to manage the Discord server, Nitrado server, or related infrastructure you connect.

• You are responsible for making sure you have permission to connect Stella to your Discord server and DayZ server.
• If you grant dashboard access to staff or other users, you are responsible for their access decisions unless and until you remove them.

3. Service Description

Stella Killfeed is a DayZ console server companion that may include, depending on current release state and configuration, killfeed logging, player tracking, live map tools, zones, spawn editing, dashboard-based configuration, shop systems, economy tools, bounty systems, auto moderation, payment logs, permissions management, and other automation or analytics features.

4. Accounts & Access

Access to the dashboard is handled through Discord OAuth and Stella’s own permission controls. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining control of the Discord account you use to access Stella.
• Keeping your device, browser session, and credentials secure.
• Reviewing who has dashboard access through the Permissions page.
• Promptly removing access you no longer want others to have.

Only the server owner has full default dashboard control unless Stella specifically provides a way to delegate or limit permissions.

5. Discord & Nitrado Connections

Some Stella features require you to connect Discord servers, Nitrado servers, or both. By doing so, you authorize Stella to process the information needed to perform the requested functions.

• Discord integrations may use server, role, channel, user, and permission data required for Stella features.
• Nitrado integrations may require server IDs, long life tokens, FTP-related actions, scheduler actions, or status checks.
• You are responsible for providing valid credentials and revoking them if you no longer want Stella connected.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Stella to:

• Break any applicable law, regulation, platform policy, or server host rule.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, dashboards, data, or infrastructure.
• Harass, stalk, threaten, exploit, or target people in a way that violates law or platform rules.
• Abuse rate limits, exploit bugs, or attempt to overload or disrupt Stella.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, clone, resell, or copy significant portions of Stella without permission.
• Use Stella in connection with cheating, fraud, credential theft, or malicious automation.

7. Automation & Moderation Actions

Stella may perform automated actions based on your settings, including but not limited to auto bans, auto moderation, linked-gamertag requirements, scheduler uploads, configuration changes, alerts, logs, and role assignment.

• You are responsible for reviewing and configuring these features appropriately.
• You understand that automated actions can affect real users, roles, shop access, bans, or server configurations.
• You accept responsibility for the choices you make in Stella’s configuration, including durations, thresholds, and enforcement settings.

Stella is not responsible for moderation decisions or server outcomes caused by your chosen settings, including accidental auto bans, misconfigured requirements, or incorrect permission assignments.

8. Availability & Changes

Stella is an evolving service. Features may be added, removed, paused, restricted, redesigned, or renamed at any time.

• We may release new systems, dashboards, tools, commands, or automations without prior notice.
• We may patch bugs, rebalance systems, or change workflows when needed for reliability or security.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent backward compatibility, or support for every third-party change.

9. Pricing & Free Access

Stella Killfeed is currently offered as a free service unless clearly stated otherwise in the future.

• “Free” means Stella itself does not currently require payment for the features being offered publicly at that time.
• Your own third-party costs, including Nitrado hosting, Discord Nitro, domains, web hosting, or related tools, remain your responsibility.
• If paid plans, donations, or premium options are introduced later, they will be described separately.

10. Third-Party Services

Stella may rely on or interact with third-party services such as Discord, Nitrado, map providers, hosting services, analytics providers, or related infrastructure.

• We do not control those third parties.
• Their outages, API changes, limits, bans, delays, or policy changes can affect Stella.
• Your use of those third-party services is also subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Intellectual Property

Stella Killfeed, Stella Tools branding, the dashboard design, code, layouts, graphics, features, and related content are owned by or licensed to the Stella project unless otherwise stated.

• You may use Stella as intended for your community.
• You may not copy, sell, rehost, republish, or redistribute Stella’s code or branded assets as your own without permission.
• You retain rights to your own server branding, rules, package names, shop setups, and community content you create through Stella.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Stella at any time if we reasonably believe you:

• Violated these Terms.
• Used Stella in a harmful, abusive, deceptive, or illegal manner.
• Attempted to compromise security, stability, or other users.
• Created unreasonable operational or legal risk for the service.

You may stop using Stella at any time by removing the bot, disconnecting your servers, and discontinuing dashboard access.

13. Disclaimers

Stella is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

• We do not guarantee Stella will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate.
• We do not guarantee any specific gameplay, moderation, economic, or business result.
• We do not guarantee that logs, map positions, alerts, bans, or dashboard outputs will always be complete or current.

Server owners should still validate important moderation or server actions before relying on them in high-impact situations.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Stella, X21iOcean, and related operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, lost revenue, server misconfiguration, shop mistakes, moderation disputes, accidental bans, automation errors, third-party outages, or business interruption.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stella, X21iOcean, and related operators from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of Stella.
• Your server’s rules, moderation, economy, shop, or enforcement decisions.
• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party right, platform rule, or law.

16. Privacy

Your use of Stella is also subject to the Stella Privacy Policy. Please review it here: Privacy Policy.

That policy explains how Stella may process account, server, connection, gameplay, and dashboard-related data in connection with its features.

17. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect feature changes, operational changes, legal requirements, or security needs.

• The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date when appropriate.
• Your continued use of Stella after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
