Console Edition Hardware & Server Matrix
Practical setup checks; no guaranteed frame rates or hardware-specific recoil reduction
| Console System | Display setup | Performance | Practical console notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xbox Series X | Use a supported TV mode | Scene-dependent | Prefer the display's low-latency/game mode. Dense bases, cities and server load can still cause drops. |
| Xbox Series S | Check your output settings | Scene-dependent | Balance clarity and response on your display. Storage speed does not guarantee stable simulation performance. |
| PlayStation 5 / PS5 Pro | Check the current game build | Scene-dependent | Compare display and controller settings in-game. Do not assume lowering output resolution fixes every frame-pacing issue. |
| Xbox One X / PS4 Pro | Use supported console output | Older hardware limits | Allow assets to stream before driving into dense areas. An SSD can improve loading, but cannot guarantee removal of lag. |
| Base Xbox One / PS4 | Prioritize clear visibility | Older hardware limits | Heavy object placement and boosted economies can add load. Test the actual server instead of relying on a promised frame rate. |
Console release & map notes
1.30 console reference
November 3, 2026: base-damage protection, connected watchtower dismantling and Sakhal bunker power checks received fixes. Heatstroke balance changed too.
Nasdara / Badlands
The fourth map has its own mission registry, external-lock and bunker-broadcast files, plus heat and sandstorm systems. Do not transplant its entire gameplay file over another map.
Map-aware information
Classname counts, file previews, locations, ingredients and bunker guidance follow the map selected above. The symptom reference remains available for custom-server conditions.

A registry reference is not a promise that an item spawns naturally. Nominal zero, event contents, attachment presets and building proxies have different roles. This is the complete indexed mission registry, not an engine-wide list of every hidden or inherited class.

Time-of-flight estimate
Range / average velocity; lateral lead = flight time x target speed. Constant-speed approximation only: drag, gravity, zeroing, latency and target acceleration are not simulated. Muzzle velocity is not average downrange velocity.
🎮 Interactive Console Controller Mapper
Default-layout reference across combat, movement, inventory and vehicles. Alternate schemes and system remapping change bindings; the in-game controls screen and prompts take precedence.
Bindings are shown for the selected gameplay context and platform. Check the in-game prompt when using an alternate scheme.
Low-Recoil Aim Tuning / Starting Preset
A slower aiming starting point for smoother corrections. Values are approximate slider percentages, not an official preset. Sensitivity changes your input response, not the weapon's recoil. Adjust for your controller and chosen layout.
Test at the same range with the same weapon. Lower aiming sensitivity a little if you overshoot; raise it if you cannot track a moving target. Change one value at a time, then record your settings below.

Not a live diagnosis, probability calculator or real-world medical advice. Mods, injuries and multiple illnesses can change the picture. You do not need every listed symptom for a condition to be possible.
Crossed-out choices do not fit the current reference pattern—not proof they cannot occur together. General danger signs stay available.

Specific symptom combinations narrow the list. Water loss, low stamina, health/blood loss, collapse, vision changes, heat and bleeding are broad checks—not automatic exclusions.
Common cold
Exposure clues: Cold/wet exposure or contact with an infected survivor.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Early influenza-agent stage: sneezing; other signs may not be obvious.
In-game treatment
Get warm and dry. Check food and hydration; tetracycline acts against the influenza agent.
Prevention
Avoid prolonged cold exposure and contact with infected survivors.
Evidence & limitations
commoncold.c; influenzaagent.c — 18 October 2026 · extracted DayZ 1.30 scripts. Primary-source code and official release notes inform this reference. Matching rules are Stella’s explanatory model, not the game’s diagnosis engine. Symptoms across stages need not occur together; this form cannot measure agent counts.
commoncold.cinfluenzaagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesInfluenza
Exposure clues: Worsening respiratory illness.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Cold, influenza and pneumonia are related stages of the influenza agent.
- Coughing can also be caused by gas exposure.
- Sneezing can continue alongside coughing; the earlier modifier need not stop.
In-game treatment
Tetracycline acts against the influenza agent. Keep warm, fed and hydrated.
Prevention
Avoid cold exposure and sharing contaminated food/drink.
Evidence & limitations

commoncold.cinfluenza.cinfluenzaagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesPneumonia / advanced influenza
Exposure clues: Advanced influenza-agent illness.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Advanced respiratory stage: gasping, impaired stamina and health loss.
- Treat the underlying agent; warming up alone is not a guaranteed cure.
- Sneezing and coughing may persist alongside gasping as the same agent progresses.
In-game treatment
Treat the underlying influenza agent with tetracycline and get out of the cold.
Prevention
Do not ignore worsening respiratory symptoms.

commoncold.cinfluenza.cpneumonia.c Official 1.30 patch notesCholera
Exposure clues: Unsafe water or contaminated consumables.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Vomiting can follow eating or drinking.
- Water loss makes dehydration a separate danger; use small amounts of safe water.
In-game treatment
Tetracycline targets cholera. Take small amounts of safe water and food while vomiting.
Prevention
Use safe or treated water.

cholera.ccholeraagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesSalmonellosis
Exposure clues: Raw/unsafe food or contaminated hands.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Vomiting, pain and vomiting-related exhaustion overlap other illnesses.
- Charcoal has a delayed effect in the checked scripts; recovery is not instantaneous.
In-game treatment
Charcoal tablets reduce the salmonella agent. Replace lost fluids carefully.
Prevention
Cook food and keep hands clean before eating.

salmonella.ccharcoalmdfr.c Official 1.30 patch notesWound infection — early stage
Exposure clues: Untreated cuts or non-disinfected dressings.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Early stage: occasional mild pain grunts.
- Use Disinfect Wounds when offered; drinking disinfectant is not treatment.
- Progression depends on the wound agent, not a countdown this tool can measure.
In-game treatment
Use the Disinfect Wounds action when available. Early and advanced stages are treated differently.
Prevention
Use disinfected bandages/rags and treat cuts promptly.

woundinfection.cwoundagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesWound infection — advanced stage
Exposure clues: An early wound infection that progressed.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Advanced stage: mild/severe pain, shaking and health loss.
- Early-stage disinfection is not a substitute for treating advanced infection.
In-game treatment
Tetracycline acts against advanced wound infection. Monitor health and remaining symptoms.
Prevention
Treat the early stage before it progresses.

woundinfection2.cwoundagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesBrain disease / kuru
Exposure clues: Consuming human meat or human fat.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Laughter and hand tremors can be intermittent.
- Tetracycline, charcoal and vitamins do not cure the brain agent in vanilla DayZ.
In-game treatment
There is no normal cure for kuru in vanilla DayZ. Other conditions can occur at the same time.
Prevention
Avoid consuming human meat or fat.

braindisease.cbrainagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesHeavy metal poisoning
Exposure clues: Heavy-metal contaminated food or water, especially on Sakhal.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Stage 1: shaky hands and water loss.
- Stage 2: pain and temporary hearing loss.
- Stage 3: persistent deafness, vomiting and health loss. Seek chelating tablets.
In-game treatment
Chelating tablets target the heavy-metal agent. Stop consuming the contaminated source.
Prevention
Use safe water and food; take care with environmental contamination.

heavymetal.cheavymetalagent.cchelation.c Official 1.30 patch notesDust exposure / silicosis
Exposure clues: Breathing airborne particles, especially Nasdara dust.
Related effects: Coughing and eye irritation can accompany the same sandstorm; they are not proof of silicosis.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Lower exposure: increasing heavy breathing.
- Higher exposure: impaired stamina.
- Severe exposure: health loss while the agent rises, fainting effects and unconsciousness.
- Agent recovery pauses while unconscious in the checked script.
- The storm itself can cause coughing and eye irritation separately from lung damage.
In-game treatment
Leave the dust and protect your breathing. Recovery depends on immunity as well as stopping exposure; keep food, water, blood and health up. Recovery pauses while unconscious. Tetracycline is not a dust cure.
Prevention
Limit dust exposure and use appropriate respiratory protection.
Evidence & limitations

silicosis.csilicosisagent.csandstormexposure.c Official 1.30 patch notesHeat illness
Exposure clues: Sustained thermal stress, not an infection.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Stage 1: increased water drain.
- Stage 2: heat symptoms, blurred vision and impaired stamina.
- Stage 3: vomiting and exhaustion.
- Stage 4: health damage, fainting effects and possible collapse.
In-game treatment
Get out of the heat, seek shade and replenish safe water. The Wash Head action reduces thermal stress and wets clothing. Adjust clothing/exertion; antibiotics do not remove heat stress. Severe stages can cause collapse.
Prevention
Manage clothing and exertion in hot conditions.

heatstroke.c — 18 October 2026 · extracted DayZ 1.30 scripts. Primary-source code and official release notes inform this reference. Matching rules are Stella’s explanatory model, not the game’s diagnosis engine. Symptoms across stages need not occur together; this form cannot measure agent counts.
heatstroke.cactionwashheadwettingclothesbase.c Official 1.30 patch notesIrritated eyes
Exposure clues: Particles affecting unprotected eyes.
Related effects: Coughing or gasping needs the separate storm/lung reference too; irritated eyes alone do not cause it.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Visual irritation scales with exposure.
- Eye irritation alone does not prove respiratory illness or silicosis.
- The same storm may also cause coughing and silicosis. Eye irritation alone does not explain lung damage.
In-game treatment
Leave the dust and use the Wash Head action with water when available; it reduces eye irritation. Recovery is not necessarily instant and ongoing exposure can add irritation again.
Prevention
Reduce dust exposure and use suitable eye protection. Eye irritation and inhaled dust are separate effects.

irritatedeyes.ceyesirritation.cactionwashheadwettingclothesbase.c Official 1.30 patch notesGas poisoning / contaminated area
Exposure clues: Unprotected contaminated-area / PO-X exposure.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Stage 1: coughing.
- Stage 2: coughing and vomiting; exposure can also cause bleeding cuts.
- Stage 3: collapse and rapid health loss.
- The checked antidote script reduces the most severe stage to stage 2; reassess rather than assuming one use always clears it.
- A compatible transfusion with blood free of chemical poison can also reduce the chemical agent. Not every blood bag is safe or a guaranteed cure; incompatible blood creates a separate reaction.
In-game treatment
Leave the contaminated area and stop bleeding. PO-X antidote targets chemical poisoning; severe poisoning may need further treatment after the first dose. Tetracycline and charcoal are not PO-X antidotes.
Prevention
Use a complete, serviceable NBC outfit and a suitable gas mask/filter for contaminated areas.

contamination.ccontamination2.ccontamination3.canticheminjector.cactiongivebloodself.c Official 1.30 patch notesSwallowed poison / toxic food
Exposure clues: Swallowed toxic substances or food carrying the food-poison agent.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Vomiting, fluid loss and temporary vomiting-related exhaustion.
- Food poison and salmonella are separate agents; vomiting alone cannot distinguish them.
- The sickness icon may appear only when symptoms occur. No icon is not proof of safety.
In-game treatment
Stop consuming the source. Charcoal supports removal of the food-poison agent in the checked scripts. Take small amounts of safe food/water and monitor recovery; this is not PO-X gas poisoning.
Prevention
Do not drink disinfectant, alcohol tincture or fuel; avoid spoiled/burned food. Use disinfectant on wounds, not as a drink.

poisoning.cfoodpoisonagent.c Official 1.30 patch notesIncompatible blood transfusion
Exposure clues: Receiving blood incompatible with your character's blood type.
Progression & distinguishing clues
- Blood drains after the incompatible transfusion; this is not necessarily visible bleeding cuts.
- Low blood can subsequently cause collapse. Check the blood indicator and transfusion history.
- The reaction has a runtime; the form cannot know when it began or promise a recovery timer.
In-game treatment
Stop further incompatible transfusions and get to safety. Support blood recovery; saline or properly tested compatible blood may help replace losses but do not instantly cancel the reaction. Illness pills do not fix blood-type incompatibility.
Prevention
Check donor/recipient blood compatibility before transfusing. Do not guess from the sickness icon.

Original-guide estimates for explosives, grenades and ammunition. These preserved figures are not verified 1.30 damage values; placement, weapon choice and server settings can change the result.
ORIGINAL GUIDE ESTIMATES
Manual-spin times are estimates from the original guide, not fixed game timers. Your starting code, input speed and where the correct combination falls affect the time.
The original guide groups ammunition calibers and frag grenades together. Different weapons and grenade types can have different damage. The HP figure is also the original guide's estimate.
