Step 1: Upload Your types.xml File
Click or drag your server's types.xml file into the upload area. The tool will read your file to see which items you already have.
Step 2: Select Items
The tool will display a list of all unreleased items that are NOT in your file, sorted by category. Click the checkboxes next to the items you wish to add.
Step 3: Edit Properties (Two Ways)
Once you select an item, the editor panel will appear.
- Individual Editing: Click on an item's specific tab to edit only that item. All changes you make are saved automatically for that item.
- Bulk Editing (for 2+ items): When you have multiple items selected, a special "Bulk Edit" tab appears. This is for changing many items at once.
- Enter a value you want to change (e.g., set nominal to 20).
- **Crucially, you must check the box next to the field you want to update.**
- Click the "Apply to All Selected Items" button. Only the fields you checked will be updated across all selected items.
Selective Bulk Editing Workflow
You have full control over what gets edited. For example, if you have 100 items selected:
- You can apply a bulk change to all 100 items.
- Then, you can **uncheck 75 items** from the list on the left.
- Now, with only 25 items selected, you can use the **Bulk Edit** tab again to apply different settings to just that smaller group.
The bulk editor always applies changes to the items that are currently checked in the list on the left.
Step 4: Generate and Download
After configuring your items, click "Add Selected Items to File". The tool will add the new XML entries to the end of your file's content. A live preview is shown at the bottom. When you're ready, click "Download File" to save your new types.xml.
Tip: Always back up your original types.xml before uploading it to your server!
