Step 1: Upload Your types.xml
Click or drag your server's types.xml file into the upload area. The tool will be ready to proceed once a valid file is selected.
Step 2: Select Usages to Decrease
Check the boxes for the usage flags you wish to decrease (e.g., Military, Medic). If your server uses custom usage flags, click the "Add Custom Usage" button to add them to the selection list. The decrease will only apply to items that have at least one of the selected usage flags.
Step 3: Choose Decrease Percentage
Select a percentage from the dropdown. This is the amount by which the `nominal` and `min` values will be reduced. For example, choosing 60% on an item with a nominal of 10 will result in a new nominal of 4 (10 - 6 = 4).
Step 4: Auto-Adjust Minimum
It's recommended to keep this enabled. When checked, after the `nominal` value is decreased, the `min` value will be recalculated to be roughly 60% of the new `nominal`. This helps maintain a balanced loot economy. If you uncheck it, the `min` value will simply be decreased by the same percentage as the `nominal`.
Step 5: Process, Compare, and Download
Click "Decrease Loot" to apply the changes. The stats panel will update with a summary. You can then click "Compare with Original" to see a line-by-line view of what changed. When you are satisfied, click "Download Edited File" to save your new `types.xml`.
Important: Always back up your original types.xml before uploading it to your server.
